The Towners walked onto the fields of glory once again for what was an eagerly anticipated game against a team that always
give the Towners a bit of a run for their money and this Wednesday night was no exception.
With Towners unavailable, starlet Stuart Leonard rejoined the Towners campaign and the season debut of star
ringer Mikey Reade concluded a fine line up against the hardworking Rejects.
Apart from that, all I can remember is that it was a difficult game and we were losing towards the end but the powerhouse
that is Chris Jones settled things up with a fine two goal salvo at the end. The first goal set up by Mikey Reade and
the second was a fine individual effort which was controlled, taken round opposition then looped over the keeper to land the
final blow.
It was all good stuff, Rejects were gutted, the Towners stayed top and Chris got MOTM.
