Romford Town Legend John MCGhee has become the first Towner to speak out regarding the current season.

McGhee is expecting a tough season for the Towner's with the likes of Grin and Evil, Hi Sue and Real McCoy in the division.

But McGhee is never one to shy away from a challenge and had this to say, "This season is bound to be the most difficault in the Town's history but i am sure we will rise to the challenge. I am relishing the prospect of Booting Hi Sue up in the air when we play the next week."

McGhee has also set a challenge to Town's version of Bobby Zamora, the great Steve Hammond. Over the past 4 season's Steve has always been on top of the scoring charts but McGhee has vowed to put up a better challenge this season. "After my 20 goals last season i am up for challenging Steve for top honour. Thats if the gaffer decides to push me further up the field now the emergence has occured with Jimmy White becoming the new Rock at the back.
